TerraLOC is a proven method to improve unpaved roads. For road applications, TerraLOC is typically applied to the surface of the road but can also be mixed with aggregate or soil to provide a more solid surface after compaction. The volume of road traffic will dictate application rates, product longevity, as well as the need for reactivation which is done with water.

What TerraLOC can do...

• TerraLOC eliminates dust while reducing potholes and washboard ruts
• TerraLOC resurfaces through settled dust and reactivates by water (rain or manually applied)
• TerraLOC holds up against heavy wheeled traffic
• Treated road surface resembles the hardness of concrete
• TerraLOC lasts through heavy rains and flooding
• TerraLOC is eco-friendly, biodegradable, non-toxic, and water soluble

Recommended Application

• The road should be comprised of limestone aggregate ranging between 3/4” stone and smaller
• Grade road to desired width and slope
• Compact aggregate road with steel drum roller (the more compaction the road has, the more effective TerraLOC becomes)
• Apply TerraLOC with a dilution rate of 2+1 using a water truck or hydro-seeder at a rate of 750 gallons per 1/3 miles of a 28’ road
• Allow TerraLOC time to cure before use of the road (12-24 hours)
• When needed, repair TerraLOC’s bond by applying water to treated surface
